All about Nancy Grace

Nancy Grace show: Haleigh Cummings spotted? Tot mom, Casey Anthony insults George Anthony!

I was wrong. Nancy Grace is still the unprofessional, aggressive ass she has always been on the air. Her behavior begs the question, “just how rude can a person possibly be?” For example Nancy Grace referred to Casey Anthony several times, merely as “tot mom” now without even saying her actual name. She cut off her talking head guests numerous times insulting them as though they are her loyal subjects with no voice.

Nancy for a solid thirty minutes conducted a show about nothing. Nancy and her “experts” talking about how they have NOTHING to tell the viewers. (Be sure to view the video in full screen mode so as not to lose the effect of all those incredible and exciting graphics Nancy has!) It was supposed to be about Haleigh Cummings having been sited at a Wal-Mart Store in Massechusetts. Yes, of course, it had to be Haleigh. Virtually everyone on the show gave comment and opinions about if it could be or should be or would be Haleigh Cummings. They talked about how many cameras there were at Wal-Mart stores. They talked about the fact that no one had any film they could show of the little girl identified as Haleigh. The truth is, no one really knew anything. They took a headline and made an entire show out of nothing. Bravo Nancy producers! I was not disappointed. After all, why would I be. Nancy Fuels this blog.

I started writing this blog several weeks ago. The actual purpose of the blog was to learn how to blog. I had never done this before. WordPress makes it so easy! I have to say for a beginner, this is a great place to learn about blogging. In the course of writing commentary I noticed that my hits skyrocketed when I mentioned Nancy Grace and especially Cayley or Casey Anthony. So, having watched and become horrified by this double tot mom before (Nancy Grace has twins and is thus a double tot mom) I decided that I would experiment and see why she is so popular. What is it that fuels her show? Now I understand. What fuels Nancy’s show is the pleasure people take in being entertained —-nothing more. What entertains people? Nancy Grace does with her stories of horror that make the average person’s life seem pretty alright. Add to that the fact that most of Nancy’s fans are white bread eating, fatback cooking, processed meat devouring cretons oooops, I almost forgot, “beer guzzling”, and you understand what the attraction is. And man does it sell commercials.

Now I can’t speak for anyone but myself when I say, it’s not very ethical to sensationalize the misery or the ignorance of others. But Nancy is a very intelligent and educated woman. so, what exactly is it that she is doing other than exactly that? She can talk or question circles around anyone on her show, and she does. For what? In a word–profit.
Nancy Grace has a new book out. She talks about it on her show. She wants YOU to love her so she talks about “the twins” to endear herself to you. She’s a wonderful mom! Well, I don’t really know about that, I’m just saying….

Nancy has only one goal. To further her career.
If Nancy Grace was truly concerned with finding little “whoever of the moment” She would spend more time talking about facts and less talking about her own opinions which are always “people who hurt children are very bad and usually family members” and “incompetence is frustrating in the investigation of crime” and “liars and cheaters are not cooperative and therefore guilty of murder”. The recurrent themes are the primary messages of every show. So why do people watch The Nancy Grace Comedy Hour? Because they’re drunk, full of white bread and therefore on a sugar high, broke, ignorant, lazy and bored. But let’s not forget the victims of the world who identify with Nancy. There are many people who blame everything but themselves for everything that happens to them. And for this reason their feelings are always hurt and they are always the victims of injustice. They get fired, their families mistreat them, their husbands, don’t understand them etc etc. These are the people who want to see Nancy Grace justice!

What crime has Nancy Grace helped to solve? None that I know of. She did manage to get a woman to croak herself after questioning her so harshly that she couldn’t stand to live any more. Melinda Duckett will never be charged and Nancy’s aggressive inquisition pretty much ensured that no one will ever know what happened to Melinda Duckett’s little boy. Yes, we all know about that. But, let me be fair. If you can think of one single instance when the Nancy Grace show contributed meaningfully to the rescue of any missing person, please respond on this blog on her behalf.

IN THE SECOND PART OF LAST NIGHT’S SHOW:
It would have been great if Nancy could have asked Casey Anthony why she won’t tell her father what happened to her daughter. But Casey won’t talk to the media any more. Nancy has made sure of that by covering the case with such blatant mis-care, for example playing tapes unbeknownst to Casey Anthony of her speaking with her family, that she destroyed any chance anyone has of ever questioning her again prior to an actual trial. Therein lies the irony. Nancy wants to try Casey Anthony before she gets to court and to find her guilty. But, now that won’t be possible. Well, no matter, because Nancy can talk about nothing forever! Just add some driving music and some excellent graphics and there you have it, a great show! Talking heads talking about why there’s nothing to talk about! Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get some more white bread at the market and I’m almost out of beer. 1. One note of correction, the child of the mom who killed herself after the NG “interview” was a little boy, Trenton Duckett. Otherwise, I agree with everything you said. I take it you are NOT “Nancy Grace’s Number One Fan”? lol
Awwww shucks, now you won’t get to go to NY and meet her.

    • There is a rule on this blog. If you refer to Nancy Grace you do not refer to her in any other way than “The double tot mom” or “double tot mom” After all as she explained why she calls Casey Anthony “tot mom” to Anderson Cooper on Larry King Live, “shes a mom with a tot thus, she’s a tot mom” Since Nancy Grace has two tots, she is a “double tot mom” Please remember this.

      Thanks,

      James

  3. I would like to know who this Sheba chic is that always gets through with the dumbest questions ever!! I think double tot mom has bogus callers.

    • I would like to know an example of Sheba’s questions if you have time. Merely saying they are dumb questions does not allow anyone to judge if you are on the mark or not in regard to whether she is real or fake. Remember, some people are sick and call into sick shows habitually.

  4. Wow, you need a chill pill. Just fyi, I watch NG to get information on the Anthony case. Yes, I also think she is obnoxious. It’s none of your business what I eat. I don’t think many people will blog on your site, I know I won’t be back. Gads, you are way over the top! Geez.

    Comment by mary | September 9, 2009 | Reply

    • Thanks for the “chill pill” advice. Unlike many Americans, I do not rely on drugs to make me happy or calm me down. We have become such a drug society that “take a chill pill” has become a common saying. Adolphus Huxley’s “Brave New World” has become our sick society right down to the Soma.

You said, “It’s none of your business what I eat.”
You said, “I watch “NG” (you may only refer to Nancy Grace as “double tot mom” on this site. This is your last warning).

You said, “I watch NG to get information on the Anthony case.”
Why do YOU need information on ‘THE ANTHONY CASE’? Are you involved in the case? Are you an Attorney? If so, I hope you don’t get your “information” on the Nancy Grace show. There is only a tidbit of actual information each month. Perhaps a sentence if you will, comes forth every decade. Let’s face it, you can get more information on the internet or from a magazine article than you ever will from Nancy Grace, sitting in front of your T.V. eating a bologna sandwich and drinking your Malt Liquor wine coolers.

You said, “I don’t think many people will blog on your site”
You take what I said about Nancy Grace fans personally. Thus it’s clear that you are one. How sad for you.

You said, “I know I won’t be back”.
      Goodbye

  5. I wasn’t going to comment. I read a lot but usually agree with the bloggers. I really have to question your description of her loyal fans. I for one do not resemble your run down of the bloggers. Not one point that you mentioned. Sorry, I have an education. Job experience, don’t eat junk, fat, or sugar, etc. I do agree that sometimes Nancy Grace comes off a little mellowdramatic but I love the way she tries to get the lawyers and guests to cough up the truth. I enjoy hearing and seeing her babies. I, for one, appreciate the “miracle” of their existance. Thank you for allowing me to stand up for NG.

    • I don’t write this blog to be agreed with. Disagree with me all you like. Further, there are always exceptions to the rule. You may not eat white bread. But you missed the metaphor and that’s my point. You tell us you’re educated but you can’t think abstractly enough to get me or my comments.

In regard to liking to hear and see her babies: All babies are a miracle of existence but they don’t belong in the gutter. There are lots of babies in the world, but people generally do not bring them on or into a show that involves rape, murder and suicide. Nancy Grace puts them in danger. She makes lots of criminals angry. Now the angry criminals know all about her children. Moreover, what do “the twins” have to do with anything on her show? I’ll tell you what. Double tot mom makes the show about double tot mom. It’s never really about any of the victims or her guests. More importantly, it isn’t for her viewers and that’s the most important point. The show should be about her viewers. It isn’t. She talks about her opinions, views and feelings and even her personal life. Do you notice that she doesn’t talk about her husband much? He must be one whipped boy. So stand up for double tot mom all you want. Your opinion is valuable here. Even if I disagree with it.

  6. Hey, Mister, I’m extremely lazy. Can that lady host be referred to DTM instead of typing all that stuff out? Or 2TM?
If I wanted to be truly hateful towards her, I could question the mom part, but she birthed them and does spend quality time with them outside all the time the show takes.

I certainly hope she takes a different tone of voice with her little ones and her husband in her family life.

Also, perhaps you’re stooping to her level too much using her phrasology, but I realize you’re only using it in reference to her, not other mothers of little ones.

I look forward to your next post. Hopefully it will not be about JVM.

    • I have no problem with DTM or TM! They are easier to type and thanks for the suggestion.

  8. I am not a Nancy Grace fan by any means. I also commented on your other article about NG softening and I mentioned this show as proof she wasn’t and now I see you are aware, LOL. Anyway, like I said, not a NG fan BUT a couple of things that I want to mention are this……Nancy’s show, as strange as it can get, is not a show specifically aimed at literally finding lost children or adults, etc. It’s a news-type, discussion program. I admit, It would be fantastic if something on her show brought a missing person home but that isn’t the purpose of her show. That is the purpose of a show like America’s Most Wanted, etc. As far as the whole Melinda Duckett situation. I just want to laugh when people say NG killed her. This woman was as guilty as sin for her son’s disappearance. She hacked Trenton’s dads’ Myspace to make him look bad, she threw away ALL of her son’s belongings within days of him missing, she wasn’t cooperative with authorities. I saw that NG show and yes, NG was demanding and wanted Melinda to answer questions but she was NOT that harsh that a person would blow their brains out. This woman was unstable, and I believe fully intended to end her life way before NG came around.IMO. Sorry but if my son was kidnapped and I agreed to go on her show and she asked me tough questions, if I were innocent, I would have either hung up on her if I was offended or I would have answered the questions. I am sure the cops would have been a LOT harder with questions than NG ever could be. Okay, now getting to your blog James. I really like it, don’t quit. You bring up great points and you arent’ full of yourself or one sided. I totally agree about NG, I couldn’t STAND the term Tot Mom. It’s dorky and I don’t know why a so called professional would lower herself to giving people silly nicknames like that. I agree about last nights show too, someone tried to say that it might not have been Haleigh spotted because a lot of kids look alike, I agree with that, but NG said no way, if she saw Lucy and her curls from the side she would know that it was her. But she’s wrong, there are a lot of kids that look similar, especially if you don’t get a good up and close look at them. But it’s her way or the highway when it’s her opinion. She always states her opinion like it is fact and the commentator can’t have their opinion.

    • In regard to Melinda Duckett and any responsibility Nancy Grace may or may not have had: We will never know if Nancy had any real effect on Melinda such that she was pushed to take her own life. The reality is, it isn’t something anyone can “prove”. But, you yourself, state that Duckett was emotionally unstable. Knowing this, why not let the police question her instead of bringing her on National TV to make a fool out of her after you lied and told her that the purpose of her appearing was to “help her find her son”. There isn’t much doubt in anyone’s mind that Melinda killed her son. What there is doubt about is whether or not she would still be alive if double tot mom had not pushed her so far as to drive her over the proverbial edge. She needed psychological help, not ridicule and verbal domination. The loss of her baby is a tragedy as is the fact that she was pushed to destruction by so many forces around her. She was mentally ill to begin with. Many young mothers feel overwhelmed and apparently, this young woman had no real help. We are seeing many such cases of young desperate, mentally ill mothers taking the lives of their children and sometimes of themselves. This needs to be addressed in our culture and in some form of help other than, you can leave your baby, no questions asked, on our doorstep. What happens after they aren’t babies any more and you can’t deal with the responsibilities of being a mother? Where is the help then?

Here is an article I just found searching on Google. The search was “I don’t want my baby anymore”. Sadly, there were many similar articles.
      Quote:
“I know that sounds so awful but that is how I feel. I’m totally loosing the will to live and would rather be dead than have to inflict my daughter with the awful mother that I am. My daughter is 3 and doesn’t listen to me or do anything I ask. I’m constantly shouting at her and have smacked her a few times (though not overly hard) just out of sheer frustration.
I have tried to discipline her but the naughty step/chair doesn’t work. She laughs and runs off. I’m on my own for 4 days of the week. My husband is too soft with her, I’m too hard. I’m just lost as to where to go from here. If someone said to me they were taking her away I’d be grateful – who in their right mind should feel like that?
Something is seriously wrong in my head but I cannot see a way out.”

I would bet that most of people writing on this google search page have little or no health insurance and if they do, it only covers a few visits to the psychologist. They are desperate and feel they have no place to turn. If they have options, they are unaware of them. This is a societal issue and there is something that can be done about it.
Dobson wrote a book, “Dare to Discipline” which helps parents to cope with “being to hard or too soft” and provides helpful information to parents who feel helpless. There are a plethora of books on the market on how to care properly for a child and make your life a little easier. The problem is, these people don’t buy books and they do not typically read self help material. If they did, instead of being on the internet complaining about being abnormal or hating “being a mom” they would be on a web page about how to cope with being a mom. Education is the answer and talk shows like double tot mom Nancy Grace’s show only throw gasoline on an already out of control flame of needless epidemic. This is because, it teaches people to ridicule the moms who are sick or who need help and to see them as demonic. They are just people like you and I. They don’t make children to kill them or hurt them. They just don’t know what to do.

We have children raising children and some of them just do not know how to cope with depression or anxiety or life itself which sometimes results in horrible acts of desperation. Tot mom thrives on it and makes it the “entertainment hour”

What do we need to know about Casey Anthony other than the simple facts we can read in a newspaper? Why do we need opinions ad nauseum or meaningless speculation? Why do we stay glued to the TV in our trashy trailer scarfing down cheese balls as we watch double tot mom Nancy attack sick and unfortunate people?

  9. Yeah, NG is always providing enough totally unprofessional conduct to write daily posts on. But, after a while it will get a little tiresome being so negative all the time.

News anchors have gotten fired for saying less, just one time.

Ok, she has great voice projection and she is always ah very loud yeh that’s it. You can hear her really well.

  10. Nancy Grace caught, again, in more lies, Jan.30th.

Nancy Grace caught fabricating elements of the HALEIGH CUMMINGS story.

There’s a reason why Nancy Grace’s ‘exclusive’ on the Cummings story sounded familiar, it was all lies. Perhaps Nancy’s inability to handle her Duckett lawsuit deposition where she attempted five separate legal motions, but failed on each, which may have driven her, again, to not remain sober except for more than just a few hours at best. If one watches her shows following the Deposition, her voice is cracking from the her yelling, her stomping, and throwing of objects that Nancy was apparently and allegedly witnessed doing before and after that Deposition. See additional link provided below.
